Why This Site Exists

PointFitApoi started as a personal project to document fitness options in the Czech Republic that are actually useful for people who live here, not just tourists passing through. Most fitness content online is either too generic or aimed at English-speaking markets that have little in common with Czech cities.

The Czech Republic has a genuinely strong sports culture. People run, cycle, hike, and swim here in large numbers. The infrastructure is good, the prices are reasonable, and the landscapes are beautiful. What was missing was a clear, honest, English-language resource that brought it all together.

This site covers gyms, running routes, cycling paths, outdoor trails, and general wellness tips, all grounded in real experience of training and living in Bohemia and Moravia.

How We Write

Every article on this site is written with a specific reader in mind: someone who wants to get fit, stay active, or explore the Czech Republic on foot or by bike, and needs reliable information to do it.
